Students who wish to register late should see Ms. Hestwood as soon as possible.

The evening will begin with dinner in the cafeteria at 6:00pm and conclude with the award ceremony in the theater at 7:00pm on May 28th. The cost is $10.00 and all student participants and their families are invited to attend. Registration is due by May 19th. Join us for a wonderful evening to celebrate the students, parents and staff of The Loft Stage!

Join the staff of East Ridge Theater Department in exploring the world of theater on the Loft Stage. Students will choose from workshops on acting, singing, dancing, scene painting, improvisation, technical theater and so much more. Workshops are intended for students who are new to the theatrical arts as well as those with lots of experience. So come and join us for a wonderful week of theater! A T-shirt is included in camp fee. Summer Camp Register today for morning or afternoon sessions August 4-8.

There were a number of Lofties and Lofty Alumni meeting up by chance at Disney World in Florida this spring break. Vincent Bedard (’11), Joe Johnson (’12), Haley Webb and Brendan Finn (’16) were all spending time with the mouse. Brenna Masgai (’16) and Megan Deppa (’14) included Disney in their vacation plans as well.

Lettering Policy

In order to earn an East Ridge letter in theatre, students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Participate in each of the three main-stage productions in some capacity (e.g. acting, technician, set construction, ushering, etc.).
  2. Earn a bear minimum of ten Thespian points for East-Ridge-related theatre activities (see details above about point allocations).
  3. Complete at least ten set construction hours in the East Ridge scene shop. This total is inclusive of individual production requirements.
