TYPE OF CLASS: This masterclass will be a Fosse dance style sampler. Students will learn the nuances of Fosse’s varying styles and take a tour through some of his most notable work.
WHAT TO PREPARE: Students should come dressed in their sleekest black and prepared to move. (Ex: black tights, leggings or pants with a leotard or form-fitting shirt for women and black pants and black t-shirt for men.) Please wear character shoes or jazz shoes and bring sneakers. No tap shoes needed.

Hennepin Theatre Trust has awarded eleven Spotlight awards to Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, performed on the Loft Stage in November. In addition to an Outstanding Performance award, East Ridge will receive their first ever Outstanding Production award and will perform a five minute medley of their show in June at the Spotlight Showcase. Technical achievement awards and Community Engagement awards will be handed out in the spring.
