Winter Play

Thank you to every one of you who auditioned for Little Women. We so admire your bravery and hard work; you made this a difficult task for us all! The first read-through will be in the Black Box at 3:30 pm on Thursday, December 7th. If you are interested in helping the production in another way, please attend the tech meeting on Thursday, December 7th at 3:15 pm in the choir room. Remember, the character you show when you look at a cast list is much more important than a character in a play.

Synopsis:
Under the guidance of their beloved mother, the four young March sisters — tempestuous Jo, motherly Meg, shy Beth, and spoiled baby Amy — struggle to keep their family going while Father’s away in the Civil War. In this beautifully dramatized adaptation of the classic novel, even as privation, illness, and sibling rivalry cast their shadows, each girl strives to find her true self. (A full-length version of this play is also available.)

Auditions:
All are welcome to audition! We are seeking creative and collaborative actors. Auditions will include cold readings from the play and accapella singing one verse of the Happy Birthday song. Actors need to attend only one day of auditions.

Students will use the following Google form to register for auditions: Audition Form

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in tech crew for the one-act. We had more people interested in participating on the performance crew than the one-act rules allow us to bring with us, so I had the difficult job of narrowing it down. Please know that I want all of you to be involved in some way, even if you aren’t able to travel with the production, so please join us for set or costume construction. You can find the dates/times we are meeting on the calendar.

Below you will find crew assignments for the performance crew. You must send Jimmy a message via Remind or an email to accept your crew position.
