Brendan Finn at the Phipps
Brendan Finn, last seen as The Baker in the Loft Stage’s production of Into the Woods will open this weekend in Aladdin Jr at the Phipps Center for the Arts. Starring as the Sultan, Brendan loves the score featuring all of your favorites from the Disney film. The show is for children of all ages and runs from Feb. 13-March 1. Sophomore Maggie Eckberg in All-State Show
East Ridge Junior Maggie Eckberg will be at home this weekend as she participates in the MN Thespians All-State Show, Spring Awakening, at the Loft Stage. Staged by Dangerous Productions, Spring Awakening features a rock score by Duncan Sheik and is intended for mature audiences. Maggie joins students from all over Minnesota and has been rehearsing for almost a year. There is only one public performance on Saturday, February 14th at 7:00pm. Congratulations to the 3AA Runner-up!
Congratulations to East Ridge on their second place finish at the 3AA Section Finals on Wednesday, February 4th at Park High School. The cast and crew of our one-act cutting of Almost, Maine finished in a mathematical tie with eventual champions Park with the tie broken by judges preference. Woodbury High School came in third in the section making it a clean sweep for South Washington County Schools.
